These blanks are currently on hand, awaiting further processing. We pull from this inventory for our "in stock barrels," and the inventory will also fluctuate based on orders being placed. We thought it would be a great option to allow our clients the opportunity to claim a specific blank to minimize the lead time on your orders. If we have the blank on hand, this will cut 6–8 weeks off of the lead time and allow you to be included in our next barrel manufacturing run.
The cost is a deposit toward the blank and will prompt a call from MTE to obtain the information needed to have the unturned blank manufactured into a barrel according to your specified design. You will only be charged the remaining balance upon completion of your barrel, and the total cost will mirror the prices identified on our barrels page. If you require a custom contour or tenon, there may be an additional cost associated.
Please note the bore, length, and twist prior to purchase. We cannot modify any of these dimensions except for cutting down the length.
