Product Overview
MTE PRS Lite / DMR Rifle
Light enough to carry. Precise enough to compete. Engineered to remove variables.
The MTE PRS Lite / DMR Rifle was developed for shooters who want the accuracy and capability of a full precision gas gun without the weight and bulk of a dedicated heavy competition rifle.
Whether it is being used for PRS-style competition, field matches, predator hunting, DMR applications, or general long-range shooting, the goal is the same: precision, repeatability, and confidence from every shooting position.
At the heart of the rifle is our Patent Pending MTE No Shift Frame Set.
Traditional AR-style systems can change point of impact as loads from a bipod, barricade, or tripod influence the handguard, receiver, and ultimately the barrel. In our testing with longer SPR-style barrels, we have recorded positional elevation shifts ranging from approximately 0.26 MRAD / 0.9 MOA to 0.5 MRAD / 1.7 MOA in traditional configurations.
The No Shift system was engineered specifically to address that problem.
Rather than treating the upper, lower, handguard, and barrel interface as separate components, the No Shift Frame approaches the rifle as a complete structural system. The upper and lower discretely interlock, creating a more cohesive structure designed to control movement and maintain consistency as external loads are applied to the rifle.
Increased Rigidity. Increased Repeatability.
During development, we began noticing another benefit we were not originally chasing.
Across barrels and configurations we had previously used, we have observed barrels shoot approximately 10–20% better on average when installed in the No Shift Frame configuration.
The principle sounds simple because it is:
Hold the barrel in a more rigid and repeatable structure, and the barrel has a better opportunity to behave more rigidly and repeatably.
Barrel harmonics, ammunition, and shooter fundamentals still matter. What the No Shift system does is reduce another source of movement and inconsistency surrounding the barrel.
The original goal was to reduce support-induced point-of-impact changes when transitioning between a bipod, barricade, and tripod. Testing has continued to indicate that the added rigidity may also allow the barrel and supporting structure to behave more consistently from shot to shot.
Built for Positional Shooting
The PRS Lite / DMR is designed around the reality that precision rifles are not always fired from a perfectly prepared prone position.
Move the bipod.
Load one leg harder than the other.
Transition onto a barricade.
Lock the rifle into a tripod.
The rifle should not require a different zero simply because the support position changed.
Shooter fundamentals still count. Cheek pressure, shoulder pressure, recoil management, trigger control, and building a square position behind the rifle remain critical.
The difference is that the rifle itself is no longer adding another variable for the shooter to solve.
The result is a lightweight precision gas gun designed to bridge the gap between a dedicated competition rifle and a field-capable DMR.
MTE PRS Lite / DMR — Precision without the excess weight. No Shift without the positional guesswork.
